Will is a contemporary jeweller, graduating in 2019 from the Glasgow School of Art with first class honours. Will went on to take part in the Artist in Residence program at the Glasgow School of Art until spring 2020. He was the 2019 recipient of the Hallmark Studio’s New Designers Award and the Assosiation of Contemporary Jewellers Mark Fenn Award.
Inspired by all things Mid-century, Will has a multidisiplinary approach to his process which involves CAD design, 3D printing and precious metal casting along with hand fabrication. His work focuses on developing jewellery efficiently and responsibly, key materials he uses are recycled silver and PLA a plant based renewable bio-plastic.
Will has gone on to exhibit nationaly and internationaly, including in China, Netherlands and London. He’s also developed ranges of jewellery for Gallery and Museum shops including The Hepworth Wakefield, The London Museum and The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. He has also worked&#38;nbsp;on a major project with Fred Again.. producing the USB necklace for the USB002 world tour.&#38;nbsp;

His work has been worn by international musicians including CMAT and featured in Time Out Magazine and the Guardian.

Will is currently based at The Art House - Wakefield, UK

Here you can find all the information and book onto upcoming workshops

Workshops At Will’s Private Studio, The Art House, WakefieldThese workshops are for ages 18+ and take place in small, shared groups of up to four people. A minimum booking of 2 participants is required. If the minimum numnber is not met for your selected date, an alternative date will be offered or a full refund provided. Confirmation will be sent at least one week before the event to confirm whether the workshop will go ahead.&#38;nbsp;

All workshops include the materials, along with a selection of hot and cold drinks and biscuits. There will also be a 30-minute break, during which you can visit the on-site Coffee Shop at The Art House to purchase food and drinks. More information, including the menu can be viewed here.&#38;nbsp; 
(Please note: the coffee shop closes at 4pm and is closed on Sundays, but you’re welcome to bring food and drinks.)

In this workshop you will learn the basic skills needed to create a silver ring, using a range of tools and techniques. You can choose from various styles of rings or make up to 3 delicate stacking rings.

Organic Textured Silver Pendant &#38;amp; Earrings Workshop: 4 Hours (£95pp)

In this workshop you will be guided through the process of creating a pendant and a pair of earrings using recycled silver. Each will have a unique organic texture and form created through a range of tools and a process of heating the metal.

All materials will be provided and expert advice will be provided. You’ll come away with your own bespoke earring and pendant set, a unique gift for yourself or for someone else.

	 Location:The front entrance for the studio faces onto Drury Lane. There are multiple car parks in the area; the closest is the York House Hotel directly opposite the studio entrance. To pay for parking there, please go to the hotel reception and speak to a member of staff.&#38;nbsp;The building is located a two-minute walk from Wakefield Westgate Train Station.

About the space: 

The workshop will take place in Will’s private studio at The Art House Wakefield. The building and studio are wheelchair accessible - with facilities all located on one level. Practical Information:


For your safety, please wear comfortable clothing, covered shoes. Anyone with hair past shoulder length will be required to tie their hair back whilst using equipment.You will be guided through the whole process of making your jewellery and operating equipment safely. No prior experience is required, as this workshop will give you the basic skills needed to create jewellery in metal.
